Plan a Visit

Strong Voices for Strong Bones in Your Community

You don’t have to go all the way to Washington to make a difference! Sometimes the easiest way to meet with Members of Congress is when they are back in your district.

Why Plan a District Meeting or Host a Site Visit?

A great way to develop a relationship with your elected officials is to meet with them during the District Work Periods. Get to know your legislator in person by visiting their district office or hosting him or her at your hospital or medical facility. By introducing your Member of Congress to other constituents who are living with osteoporosis and are passionate about raising awareness of the effects of poor bone health, you remind your elected official that you speak for thousands of individuals impacted by osteoporosis in your district. NOF will help you plan the visit.
