Our Partnership with WebMD

In March 2010 NOF and WebMD partnered for the launch of a new Osteoporosis Health Exchange, an online discussion forum for the general public. The Osteoporosis Exchange is featured in the new WebMD Health Exchange, a health social networking platform that provides a unique way for consumers to get health and wellness support from the world’s largest community of online health-informed consumers. The WebMD Health Exchange was developed to engage consumers on a variety of health and wellness topics, including osteoporosis. It gives consumers the ability to connect with world-class health experts and other WebMD members to exchange real experiences, discuss personal challenges and receive direct answers and support.

More than 60 million consumers visit the WebMD Health Network each month. The WebMD Health Exchange connects consumers with the knowledge and credibility of leading professionals from renowned health and medical organizations and patient advocacy groups. The Osteoporosis Exchange will feature NOF affiliated health professionals who will engage in discussions with community members, answer questions and share accurate evidence-based information about osteoporosis and bone health with community members.
