Community Corner
Hosting an NOF Event

My Application is Approved!  What's Next?

Congratulations! Your event application has been approved and you are ready to officially begin.

To help you maximize your efforts, NOF has created a number of resources within the Community Corner to help you. From Raising the Money! to providing sample media documents, we’re here to help you.

Please take a few moments to review the various sections of the Community Corner and familiarize yourself with the tools that are at your fingertips. Feel free to adapt and mold them to the needs of your particular event. We hope all this information proves useful in your planning and implementation efforts.

You can take comfort in knowing that the funds raised through your efforts will help the following NOF goals:

1.   Increase public awareness and knowledge of osteoporosis prevention, diagnosis, and treatment

2.   Promote and provide education and training for physicians and other health professionals

3.   Advocate for expanded support for medical research and education

4.   Provide information and support to patients and their families

5.   Fund research and research training

Thank you for helping to support NOF in our efforts to make bone health a lifelong priority for all Americans. Bone health is critical to our overall health and well-being. Strong, healthy bones allow us to undertake the interests and activities that we enjoy. Bone health is also an important factor for ensuring independence and quality of life throughout the life cycle.

On behalf of NOF and the millions of people affected by osteoporosis or concerned about bone health, thank you for choosing NOF as the beneficiary of your event. We appreciate your support and assistance.  Good luck with your event and/or activity and we look forward to hearing from you.
