Welcome to the
National Osteoporosis Foundation's (NOF)
Community Corner. We appreciate your
interest in organizing an event to
create awareness of osteoporosis and
helping NOF make a difference in
fighting osteoporosis and meeting
our
mission.
In the U.S., one in
two women and one in four men will
experience an osteoporosis related
fracture. Think about all the people in
your life and how many of them could be
affected by this disease at some point.
Your efforts to raise awareness -- as
well as raise funds to help NOF meet its
mission -- is also helping so many of
the people you care about. Working
together we can realize NOF's vision: to
make bone health a reality and lifelong
priority for all individuals -- children
and adults, men and women.
The Community
Corner has the resources you need to
help you put your enthusiasm and
creativity into action and coordinate an
informative, fundraising event. This
outreach will encourage people to be
aware of their bone health and take
