Closing the Care Gap: Responding to Patient Questions and Concerns about Calcium and Vitamin D

Audience: This activity is designed for physicians and nurses working in a variety of healthcare settings and who work with individuals of all ages who are at risk for osteoporosis and future fractures.

Activity Summary: This activity will present current evidence regarding the role of calcium and vitamin D and discuss conflicting evidence regarding risks and benefits of dietary and supplemental nutrients. The format will be a slide/audio presentation followed by questions and answers.

To Obtain Credit:  After reading the article, participants must take the CME quiz, achieving a minimum score of 70%.
