Paul G. Rogers Champion Circle

NOF established the Paul G. Rogers Champion Circle in 2006 in recognition of the Honorable Paul G. Rogers and his lifelong commitment to this nation’s health care and especially, the field of bone health and osteoporosis. Mr. Rogers was the founding Chairman of NOF, serving as chairperson for 19 years.

Mr. Rogers served in Congress for 24 years, eight of which he served as the Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Health and Environment. Virtually every major piece of landmark health legislation during that period bears the Rogers name. He was instrumental in helping to enact the National Arthritis Act, The Research on Aging Act, The National Cancer Act, The Clean Air Act, The Safe Drinking Water Act, and helped to establish the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health.

The Paul G. Rogers Champion Circle recognizes individuals and families who join Paul’s commitment to this nation’s health care and his tradition of caring by making annual gifts totaling $1,000 or more to benefit the National Osteoporosis Foundation.  Gifts may be designated to specific program areas of interest.

The greatest benefit from membership in the Paul G. Rogers Champion Circle comes from knowing your gift is helping NOF fulfill its mission and the dream of Paul G. Rogers to prevent osteoporosis, to promote life long bone health, to help improve the lives of those affected by osteoporosis and related fractures and to find a cure.

Benefits of membership include:

  • A Certificate of Appreciation
  • A copy of the Annual Report and your name listed in the Honor Roll of Donors
  • Invitations to NOF events and functions
