Latest Developments In Osteoporosis Prevention, Diagnosis & Treatment To Be Unveiled At Conference

Washington, DC – Health and Human Services Secretary Mike Leavitt will address attendees of the National Osteoporosis Foundation’s International Symposium on Friday, April 20 at 8 a.m.

NOF’s event will bring together a faculty of internationally-renowned experts to announce and discuss new developments in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of osteoporosis at a comprehensive five-day conference in Washington, DC. Improvements to identify osteoporosis and fracture risk, results of several clinical drug trials to treat osteoporosis, and studies on effects of vitamin D to prevent and slow osteoporosis and other causes of falling and fractures will be presented.
