NOF’s International
Symposium
on Osteoporosis (ISO) is the only
scientific meeting with 100% focus on the prevention,
diagnosis and treatment of

goal of the ISO is to update

Continuing Medical Education
Accreditation
The
Seventh International Symposium on
Osteoporosis: Translating Research into
Clinical Practice has been planned and
implemented in accordance with the
Essential Areas and Policies of the
Accreditation Council for Medical
Education (ACCME). The National
Osteoporosis Foundation is accredited by
the ACCME to provide continuing medical
education for physicians.
CME
Credit Designation
The
National Osteoporosis Foundation
designates this educational activity for
a maximum of 25.3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM. Physicians should only
claim credit commensurate with the
extent of their participation in the
activity.
Credit
for Nurses and Allied Health
Professionals
Application for approval of nursing
continuing education credit will be made
to the Virginia Nurses’ Association,
which is accredited by the American
Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission
on Accreditation. Upon receipt of
completed evaluations, NOF will provide
non-physician participants with a
certificate indicating the number of
contact hours earned. The official
program qualifies for a maximum of 25.3
contact hours of CE credit.
